I help organisations navigate complex change by combining business and commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement, and behavioural insight.

 

Over the last 25+ years I have worked across government, financial services, healthcare, policing, utilities, and technology, advising senior leaders on transformation programmes, supplier strategy, business cases, commercial negotiations, and organisational change.

 

Most recently, as Head of Digital Partnerships for the UK Government Digital Service (GDS), I led strategic engagement with major technology suppliers including Microsoft, Google, AWS, IBM and Salesforce, helping shape approaches to digital transformation, innovation, and cross-government collaboration.

 

Alongside my professional work, I am completing a Doctor of Professional Studies (DProf) researching behavioural responses to complex organisational change. My research explores how people and organisations respond to uncertainty, competing incentives, power dynamics, and transformation, and how these factors influence decision-making, stakeholder relationships, and delivery outcomes.

 

This research informs my advisory practice, helping organisations move beyond structural solutions and better understand the human and organisational factors that determine success or failure.
